Available Government Grants

Zenith Eco Solutions are a Trustmark accredited company, which enables us to offer free or subsidized grants to our customers on the government backed ECO4 and Boiler Upgrade Schemes. Here’s some information about each.

ECO4 Scheme (Energy Company Obligation)

The ECO4 scheme, part of the UK government’s efforts to improve energy efficiency, aims to reduce carbon emissions and combat fuel poverty. Running from April 2022 to March 2026, it requires large energy suppliers to fund the installation of energy efficiency measures in eligible households. These measures include insulation, heating upgrades, and renewable energy installations. ECO4 targets low-income and vulnerable households, prioritizing those in the least energy-efficient homes. By improving energy efficiency, the scheme helps reduce energy bills and carbon footprints, contributing to the UK’s net-zero goals.

Subject to Eligibility, the Eco4 scheme provides Government funding for:

• Free boiler upgrades or central heating installations
• Free solar panel installations
• Free air source heat pumps
• Free loft, floor or wall insulation

Great Britain Installation Scheme

The GBIS (Great Britain Installation Scheme) grant for residential properties is designed to support homeowners in making their homes more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Qualifying Criteria for Residential Properties:

  • Homeownership: The grant is available to homeowners, including landlords with rental properties.
  • Property Type: Eligible properties may need to meet specific criteria, such as age or current energy efficiency rating.
  • Location: The property must be located within designated regions or areas participating in the GBIS program.

Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a UK government initiative designed to encourage homeowners to switch from traditional fossil fuel boilers to more sustainable heating systems. Running until April 2025, it offers funding of up to £7,500 to support the installation of air or ground source heat pumps and £5,000 to support the installation of biomass boilers. The scheme targets homeowners and small businesses, aiming to reduce reliance on gas and oil boilers, thus lowering carbon emissions. By subsidizing the cost of eco-friendly heating solutions, BUS supports the transition to renewable energy and helps the UK achieve its climate targets.

Subject to Eligibility, the BUS scheme provides Government grant funding to support the installation of Air or Ground Source Heat Pumps and Biomass Boilers.
